I did everything imaginable you can do and probably by the grace of God. A lot of people would have been in prison for some of the stuff I did.
It’s really hard to admit you’re an alcoholic and addict to gambling. It is hard to admit you’re addicted to excess.
I would put on my clothes and I would tip [toe] out in the middle of the night to go gamble. In a week he would get paid. He would give me money to go buy the groceries. I’d go gamble every bit of it.
